It’s not enough just to hear God’s Word, we need to obey it.  We deceive ourselves if we think that it’s pleasing to God to interact with His Word without keeping the Word. We can’t be content with simply hearing the Word and walking away. We are rightly dividing the word of truth. God’s end goal in His Word is not simply agreement, but transformation.
