Delay or Patience Having its Perfect Work?

James said to "Count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing."Perfect? Complete? Lacking nothing? Are those things even possible? The Bible says they are but they are obtained through developing something we don't tend to like very much ... patience.What does it mean to let patience have its perfect work in you?
