In a special two part series, Dr. Buske has Dr. Paul Goodman in the studio to share his story.  Growing up with a dentist as a father, Paul saw an opportunity to help people while being your own boss.  Paul decided to follow in his dad’s footsteps and enroll in dental school.  He shares that he really struggled and almost dropped out, but was glad he stuck it out.  He ended up really enjoying his externship and saw the value of collaboration.  Dentistry can be very lonely and can lead to depression.  Paul enjoys having a practice with partners and currently works with 7 other dentists.  He believes dentistry would benefit greatly if dentists weren’t competing with each other but were working together.  Dentistry isn’t what it used to be, you have to now be a marketer and have a social media following.  A dental community is priceless support.
