Revelation 2:12-17 The church at Pergamum had some commendable boldness to those outside the church. But when it came to others in the church, they didn't say anything, even as the "doctrines of Balaam" were being taught. Jesus mentions one of the martyrs of the church, Antipas. He was a "faithful witness" in the face of false religion. We should follow his example for the sake of those who say they don't believe in Jesus and those who say they do. If we will, we will get a taste of "hidden manna" and receive a white stone from Jesus with our new name written on it. What does that mean exactly? Not sure. But I hope to be found worthy to finding out one day.
