Department finalises documents on adding Sligo homeowners to redress scheme

It's understood that the Department of Housing has finalised documents as it relates to adding Sligo homeowners to the Defective Block redress scheme. Sligo County Council is set to review the documents before being sent back up to the Department for final approval from the Housing Minister. Frustration is said to be building among homeowners in Sligo after hopes of being added to the scheme were dashed a number of times PRO of the Sligo Pyrite Action Group, Cllr Thomas Healy says there's still concern about the scheme itself but homeowners are eager to be added to it:
