Elon Musks bedrijf Neuralink wordt doorgelicht door het Amerikaanse Ministerie van Landbouw, na tal van meldingen over dierenleed. Daar wordt sinds 2018 getest met het implementeren van chips in de hersens van onder meer apen en varkens. Afgelopen week sprak Musk nog uit in een presentatie dat hij verwacht binnen zes maanden de eerste proeven op mensen te kunnen uitvoeren. Daarvoor heeft hij nog wel goedkeuring nodig van de FDA.
