The keywords are visceral rhythm. Di'jital & Kid Ginseng set it off with KJDA’s premier release, Audio Analysis, a painstakingly refined DJ tool filled with acidic grit and bouncing percussion, meant to hold any floor and engage the full body. Heavily inspired by electrofunk from LA and Detroit, these minimalistic weapons draw their inspiration from both classic electro and new school sentiments. Di'jital is a veteran Detroit DJ and producer with releases on Direct Beat going back as far as the mid-1990's. Kid Ginseng's releases go back as far as 1999 debuting with Germanik Robotz, a 60-minute megamix cassette sold by Turntablelab and the legendary New York shop, Fat Beats. A lyric from "Looking For The Perfect Beat" sums it up: "We are the future, you are the the past." Join the two DJs in celebrating a style which is inspired in part by the art of turntablism, primed to entertain a club full of serious electro heads.
