Discipleship Will Cost You, Part 4

Continuing our journey in discipleship, we face several questions in the first century AD that are still relevant now such as:  Do we come to church to truly hear from God; Do we come to be challenged to be like Jesus; Are we coming to church simply for ourselves, to get out of it what we want?  Jesus speaks very plainly to a crowd gathered in Jerusalem by challenging their preferences (of religion) over what God has actually commanded, and we must be willing to also examine what we are doing (or what we are calling worship) and if it is not true servanthood to draw closer to Christ, refuse to continue partaking of it.  God bless you.
