It’s been a while! What’s up beautiful people! 🔥First thing first! Come to my next free, online event- ITS-MY-TIME.eventbrite.com! Free for the first 15! 🫶🏾Well as you know I live with bipolar two. That’s one of the main reasons I started working for myself - so I could manage that condition. 💃🏾But I’ve also suspected I may have ADHD. This journey started as I was questioning if my daughter has ADHD. As I was reviewing the signs for ADHD, I found myself relating to them as well. 🤯I then researched how it shows up in adult women and found overwhelmed similarities between what I read and the past 44 years of my life! 🥺The truth is most of us do not understand these conditions. Our understanding is stereotypical and limited. For example: people will believe you can’t have ADHD if you did well in school or are able to focus on things you like. Many people found ways to blend into the neurodivergent community. 💯For example, when I asked my daughter if she pays attention in school, she says she doesn’t really but is smart enough to figure out how to do the assignment anyway. She smart enough that she tends to be bored with the slower pace of instruction. 🎈So even when she tunes out, she can figure out how to blend back in. Anyway I hope this continues to keep the conversation about mental health in the Black community alive! ☎️ and as always, you can always schedule a call here https://calendly.com/healingracism/strategy-session-45
