Dive In | Forging Your Own Path with Balvinder Dhillon

In today's episode, I am super excited to have Balvinder Dhillon, a fellow final-year biomedical engineering student at Queen Mary University. Hailing from Malaysia, Balvinder shares her fascinating journey of growing her love of making things into a flourishing path of science and engineering.

We dive deep into her experiences in various engineering competitions during high school, her pivotal decision to switch from medicine to biomedical engineering, and her ongoing work with Hyperlink. Balvinder is the President of Hyperlink and has led them to three international competitions so far with more on the way! She also talks about her role as a research assistant at the Advanced Robotics Centre, where she's working on a gesture project for a bionic hand and her personal project on building an ECG sensor.
