You may be thinking, will I ever meet someone worthwhile? Will it ever be my turn? Will dating lead me to meeting someone I want to spend the rest of my life with? The answer is YES! DO NOT SETTLE! I had a coworker tell me I needed to compromise what I was looking for in a partner. I’m so glad I didn’t listen to her. You do not need to compromise or settle. I know it can be hard. I had moments I would meet someone and think, I guess I could date this person, yet they didn’t have some key traits I was looking for in a partner. Do not settle. Do not lower your criteria just to be with someone. It’s not worth it! In this episode I share ways to not settle and to keep your expectations. Dating can be hard and discouraging at times. Don't give up! The right person will show up. It took me 10 years. I have some interesting stories around dating, but now I have the most amazing husband and it was all worth it! I never thought I would get to the point of thinking all the pain and suffering I went through I would be grateful for. But here we are. There were many amazing a good moments as well. During that time I learned a lot about myself, God, and who I wanted in a life partner. Listen all the way to the end because I give practical tips on how to get yourself ready to date.
