Do You Want to be Wise?

In “Do You Want to be Wise?” S5 / E46 of I Took a Right Turn: We open up with our usual comments on the weather in the Promised Land and other happenings in the world. Our musical portion of the podcast begins with On More Mountain to Climb which tells us how to make it through anything, by knowing God is always there for us. Next a song that tells how our intimacy with God holds us up, Just a Little Talk With Jesus. Then comes a song that tells us that we have a new source for our joy, It's a New Wine. Finally, we share another of our homegrown songs: Jesus is Lord. Looking into God's holy Word, we explore at James 3:13-18 a portion of God's Word where James, the brother of Jesus, tells us how to discern between godly wisdom and the wisdom of the world. After this, we move on to our newest segment of the Podcast, “A Miracle Moment.” In the segment this week, we share a miracle that shows how much God cares for us and how He will take care of the needs in our lives. Then Robert reads another poem from his second book of poetry, Floating Through Time, “Ou Desire is Why.” Each episode this season includes a poem from this book. We want to invite everyone to send us your miracle stories. Everyone who does will receive one of Robert's books.
