Donegal County Council vote to retain Local Property Tax at 15%

It's been clamied that local authorities are not being properly supported financially by Government.The comments were made by Independent Donegal Councillor, Declan Meehan, who was speaking after Donegal County Council voted not to change the Local Property Tax rate in Donegal.A motion to lower the rate by 15% was defeated.Speaking to Ocean FM News, Councillor Meehan accused Fianna Fail and Fine Gael of talking out of both sides of their mouth, as he feels homeowners in Donegal are being left behind.
