Donegal TD uses local examples to show issue of violence against women

Donegal has been used as an example to reflect nationwide issue of domestic violence against women. Donegal Independent TD Thomas Pringle was speaking on the situation in the Dáil, and presented some local statistics to the floor. One instance highlighted was that local services receive five to six new calls each week for people seeking help. Deputy Pringle says there is a high demand for the service among younger people:
