Don't Blame God and Others

Today, November 2 - I'm always amazed at the Lord's leading in doing these Pastor's Chats.  The first thing I do, before I post anything, is sit in front of the iPhone camera and share what's on my heart and in my head about the passage we're looking at.  And then I edit it and load it to my computer. The next thing I do is to read the Experiencing God and Utmost devotionals and then post a link to them.  Then I begin to post the Pastor Chat.  What amazes me, is before I even read the devotionals, what I have talked about in the chat, is connected to the same thoughts in the devotionals.  Today it appears to me that the Lord wants us to think about our love relationship to Him that is evidenced by our obedience!  We are so quick to blame God and others for our disobedience when we fail in a trial, or choose to surrender to a temptation that we know is sinful or breaks God's standard.  James warns us today that the end of fulfilling sinful deeds is always death.  Death means separation!  Separation from relationship and fellowship with God and others!  By God's grace today, let's chose to be obedient and show our love to the Lord who gave His life of us!  God bless!
