Drainage works almost complete at Ahamlish Cemetery

It’s been confirmed that the drainage works in Ahamlish Cemetery in Grange are almost complete.The lack of drainage has been an issue frequently raised by members of the public who visited the area, whilst also making burials difficult over recent years.A new drainage scheme is now almost complete which drains water through the centre of the graveyard from one end to the other.Sligo-Drumcliffe Cllr Thomas Walsh welcomed the news and thanked those involved:
