Dromahair residents have brief meeting with Taoiseach

Members of the Dromahair Concerned Residents Group have had what's been described as a positive meeting with the Taoiseach. Some members of the group met in an informal capacity with Simon Harris as part of his visit to Sligo and Leitrim yesterday. Around 30 asylum seekers arrived to the former Abbey Manor Hotel on Thursday with more set to arrive this week. Sligo Leitrim Independent TD Marian Harkin says the encounter was a hugely positive first step in finding a solution that is agreeable to all:
