Dropping the support mechanism

from Fundamental Expressions · host Y V Chawla

Truth or God or Original is not knowledge. It is totality expressing from moment to moment-you and the world as a singular process-including what you like-dislike, fear or cherish. It is not knowing ‘what is’ that delivers but seeing ‘what is’ ‘as is’ without any escaping mechanism that connects you to the ground. Unless any support, any relieving mechanism devised by you in the form of guru, God or some philosophy crumbles down-you can not see ‘as is’, you can not face ‘as is’. This seeing, this facing is discomforting for the mind. If somehow you are able to absorb this discomfort-you are one with the mystery of Existence. You are on the Original ground. You are aligned to the Source when you do not run away from any irritating feeling-you experience in daily life. The resistance, the discomfort brain can absorb attunes it to power, to capacity, to all possibilities. One is attracted by the ideas ‘life should be stress free’, ‘life should be tension free’ or one takes to religious, spiritual activities as one has settled oneself (compulsively) in one’s job, in one’s work. Unless one sees that one has bound oneself to the comfort of ‘attractive ideas’-the pressure to see ‘what is’ does not get build up. The fused state does not touch one.
