A new skill every day. In five minutes. Hey guys, today we are looking at a skill called guided sleep meditation and it looks pretty good. I think there is only one, certainly I've had the same one each time, I've invoked it.
But as she explains at the beginning, it doesn't really matter. The idea isn't to listen or even focus on the words or what she's saying. It's just a drift off and not care about a single thing. I'll let you know.
I'll let you know. I'll let you know. I'll let you know. Okay.
I'll let you know. I'll let you know. I'll let you know. I'll let you know.
I'll let you know. I'll let you know. Everything just now. Even having to listen to the sound of these words.
Just allow the words to come to you as though they are washing over you. Nothing to reach for. There is literally nothing more you need to do right now. There is nothing you need to do right now.
It's okay to let go of needing to fall asleep right now. It's okay to relax completely about your sleep. It's okay to release any opinions about your sleep. When sleep is an automatic process of the body, we can let it go.
The body knows exactly what to do. It does come naturally in its own time. Falling asleep is not like turning off a light switch. It's like a sunset.
A gradual, sometimes imperceptible transition as the activity of the day recedes and a time for rest and replenishment emerges.
