Dot to dot. A new skill every day. In five minutes. Alexa, ask MyTunerRadio to play the station that you want.
Alexa, ask MyTunerRadio to play Twit. Playing Twit from the United States. Good on you, Seniza, for doing that. Now, I want to talk a little bit more about the performance of this microphone, but before we do that, we'll attempt to take a couple seconds to thank this week's sponsor to the fine folks at Eero.
These days, your house isn't just your home. You're a work call, browser, remote learning. Someone is streaming these activities to put a strength on your health. MyTunerRadio can play more than 50,000 radio stations worldwide from more than 200 different countries and territories.
To play a radio station, say, play followed by the name of the station. You can also ask what are the top stations of a given country or to play a station from a given genre, such as play the best jazz stations. What are the top stations in Iceland? The top radio stations in Iceland are 1, Ruvras 2, 2, Ruvras 1, 3, Flashback 60s.
Choose a station or say next for more options. Stop. Now, I know you can ask for more, and it will just keep on going down through all the, I don't know how many, dozen or hundred radio stations, but that's a nice way to know what are the most popular stations in a particular area as well. Now, what about on your phones?
TuneIn is obviously a popular app on your phones as well, but it does apply there too, here in the UK anyway. So what you can do is you can just ask the S-Lady, Siri, to play whatever radio station you want, and it actually plays it in the music app, even though it doesn't surface other radio stations. It will definitely play it in the music app, which is kind of a weird loophole. But anyway, so yeah, you can ask for any radio station around the world using Siri, and you can also use, obviously, Android Assistant as well, just to ask it to play wherever you want.
Cool. This is Robin, signing off, and we'll speak again tomorrow. Feedback, comments, demos. The dot-to-dot podcast at gmail.com.
