from Dot to Dot - the daily 5min Alexa demo show

First covered by friend of the show Thomas Domville over 500 episodes ago, today's skill demo is a chilling reminder that it's *never* a good idea to go swimming in a lake full of gaters. TRANSCRIPT · AUTO-GENERATED

Hey guys, we have covered this over 500 episodes ago, and it's a salutary tale about when and when not to, go after your keys, Alexa, open Gator Lake. Welcome to Gator Lake. Would you like to play the game? View your collection.

See the high scores? Or learn how to play? Learn how to play. In this game, your car keys have been thrown into the middle of the lake.

Your goal is to swim out to the middle of the lake, dive down to get your keys, and return to the shore. The only catch is that the lake is filled with hungry hungryigators. On each turn, you will make a decision to try and get to your keys. You can choose to swim, which will move you closer to your keys.

You can choose to dive down the water and look around, in which you might find secret items to your collection. Or you can pretend to be a wooden log. You will be told when there is a Gator nearby. When a Gator is near, you have a chance to be caught.

If you pretend to be a log when the Gator strikes, you will survive. Otherwise, you lose. Good luck. Welcome to Gator Lake.

Play the game. Uh oh. Looks like little tinny has thrown your car keys into the middle of the lake again. You will have to swim out and get your keys back.

But watch out for the hungry alligators. A reprimand little tinny. You jump into the lake. I don't think I would.

Your keys are at 50 meters. You are at 0 meters. No. Looks like I was an alligator near you.

Be careful. You are at 50 meters. Would you like to swim forward? Go down.

Or add like a log. Stop. See you later alligator. I'm stressed.

I feel a bit stressed. To me, it must have a really strong arm to throw keys 50 meters. And he needs a really good turning off. Okay.

I'm going to leave it there. Whoo. This is Robin signing off. I really do feel kind of nice.

We'll speak in tomorrow. Be back. Comments. Demos.
