Hey, what we're getting everybody, this is Counter-productive Brian from Across the Pond. Today I wanted to show everyone a skill called Dungeon Roll. Seeing as if you just said Dungeon Roll, it would start a bunch of skills rolling RPG dice like D20's D10's, you have to start by saying open dungeon roll game. So let's give it a try and let's see what you think.
Essentially this is a die rolling game, which is fun for me, as well as a fantasy game where you're using dice that you roll to kill off dice that the dungeon rolls against you, collecting treasure and drinking potions along the way. So let's give it a try. A little bit of extra open dungeon roll game. Welcome to Dungeon Roll.
To begin, say new game. To learn how to play, say rules. To check your high scores, say high scores. Say help at any point during the game if you need help.
Say about for more information about the game. New game. Do you want to play with a random hero? No.
Alright, here is a list of heroes to choose from. Spellsword, mercenary, occultist, knight, minstrel, crusader, half goblin, enchantress, alchemist, tracker, archaeologist, or Viking. Say a hero's name to begin. To learn more about a specific hero, say hero details.
Hero details, tracker. Okay, here is more details about tracker, specialty, once per level, you may reroll one goblin. The ultimate ability is called shot which lets you discard one monster of any type. Turns into ranger when leveled up and the ultimate ability is replaced with flurry of arrows which discards one monster of each type.
Do you want to choose this hero? Yes. You selected the tracker. Rolling the party dice.
The party consists of three thieves, two champions, one fighter, and one mage. Get ready for your first dungeon delve. The first level in the dungeon has one potion. You are in the loot phase.
You can quaff potions, or say skip to ignore the loot and continue. Quaff potions. Which companion do you want to use to quaff potions? Thief.
How many potions do you want to quaff? One. You used a thief to quaff potions. The number of remaining companion revivals is one.
Say revive followed by the companion name to begin reviving. Revive champion. These are always good. You added a champion to your party.
You completed level one. Say seek glory to continue to the next level. Say retire to end the dungeon delve and collect experience points. Seek glory.
You seek glory and challenge level two. You are in the monster phase. The dungeon has one goblin and one potion. Attack the monsters to continue.
Thief attack goblin. You used your thief to defeat one goblin. You are in the loot phase. The dungeon has one potion.
In this phase you can use party dice to open chests or quaff potions. Say skip to ignore some of the loot and continue. That's good enough for now. Exit.
That should be enough flavor for now. Note that when you start the game where each level, you roll seven dice of vids. You are varying sides. So for example a fighter kills all goblins, a wizard kills all oozes, etcetera, etcetera.
Champions, kind of a wild card. You can kill anything. Thieves can open up multiple treasures and a scroll can help you re-roll dice. This is a die rolling puzzle style game where you are trying to be the most efficient with your die rolls to take out the monster so that you can drink potions to get better companions or more companions.
And then open treasure. And that's fun. At the end it's a solo game that you try to beat your own high score. So if that turns you off this may not be your thing.
But for me I have a lot of fun with this and I'd recommend it. Note that this skill is based on a real life board game called Dungeon Roll. A newer player can experiment with the randomly generated heroes at the beginning of the game to explore different things and special abilities that each character can do. That can be quite fun and I'd recommend that as well.
