Hello and welcome to another dot-to-dot podcast. Hope you're doing well. My name's Sean and today I'm gonna get some therapy. Well to be exact we all are some hypnotherapy.
We have looked at this skill before over 500 episodes ago, but I thought we'd take another look as it has been updated because, well let's face it, we are living in some stressful times at the moment. So let's see if hypnotherapy can help. Okay, here's hypnotherapist. Your hypnotherapist is Barry Thane of the Mindsight Clinic in London, England.
To access the free therapies, say list. Or say help for a menu of other commands. There is also premium content with over 70 therapies available for purchase. What do you want to do?
List. Here is a list of seven free therapies. One, appreciate yourself, my core philosophy, the key to happiness is to be at ease with yourself. Two, sleep now, nothing beats and good nights sleep.
Three, quantum therapy, get a better perspective on your problems. Four, rest response, don't stress, rest. Five, quarantine, coping with viral isolation. Six, chameleons, if working from home.
Seven, coronavirus, your time to save lives. Which one do you want to enjoy? Say select in a number. Select five.
Quarantine. Hello. You're going to be hypnotized, so please do not listen to your therapy if you're driving. Or in any other situation where it would be hazardous for you to lack full conscious attention.
Oof. Good. What? Now make yourself comfortable and please close your eyes.
I want you to focus your attention, your imagination in the five toes of your left foot. My left foot? Great film. I want you to think about those tendons stretching backs like taught plastic straps.
And as you think about them, perhaps picture them in your mind's eye. You can think about them getting loose, easing off, resting and relaxing. Oh, he's good. You are safely, securely, comfortably settled back and for the next few minutes you have no need to stand.
Wow. Nothing to balance. So it's okay. You can just imagine and feel those tendons go soft and unstressed.
Okay, we better stop now before I fall asleep. Stop. Okay. Wow.
That was so strange. I was actually, it was working. I was relaxing as I was listening to it. The way he presents it, his tone of voice is excellent.
Yeah, look, this may not work for everyone, but definitely I think it's worth a try. That's hit no therapist. Thanks guys. Feedback comments demos.
