Dot, two, dot. A new skill every day, in five minutes. Hey guys, Robin here. Today we're going to revisit a skill that we covered over a thousand episodes ago.
It's a classic example of the Escape the Room genre of skills, and it's called Escape the Room. I think it's the first one we covered in this theme, and it offers you multiple rooms to escape from. Alexa, open Escape the Room. The available rooms are the spaceship, the jail cell, the office, and the garage.
Which room would you like to enter? The garage. The spaceship. A must-do just seeps into your nostrils and stings your tongue.
A premium window. As you shock just follow the smell, you think back on your life accomplishments. As a failed artist, you never worked a real day in your life. You panic that you may never get the chance to turn things around.
You begin to lift your body up, but something restricts you. Your eyes open to reveal a rope tying your hands to the ground. In a fit of rage, you thrash your arms up and down until the rope begins to unravel. You continue to apply pressure on the rope, until it snaps.
You sash the rope in your pocket for later, lift up your body, and survey the room. What would you like to do? Just say look up, down, left, right, or forward to begin. Look forward.
You look in front of you and see the closed garage door, and a button next to it. What would you like to do? Examine button. You click the button expecting the garage door to open, but nothing happens.
You scream out loud in frustration and click it a few more times before giving up. What would you like to do? Look down. You look down and see a toolbox.
What would you like to do? Examine toolbox. The toolbox is locked and has a four-digit combination lock. What four digits would you like to try?
One, two, three, four. You carefully send the code to one, two, three, four, but the toolbox doesn't open. Surprise. What would you like to do?
Look up. You look up at the ceiling, or you see it's the garage opener that is hooked up to the garage door. What would you like to do? Stop.
Are you sure you want to quit? Yes. Okay, thanks for playing. We noticed that you haven't escaped any rooms yet.
If you are stuck, try out our new hints feature by saying I want a hint during your game. Okay, guys, I did actually restart. I kind of reset it before because I was halfway through the prison cell one. If you ask for the spaceship one, this is what you'll hear, but you have to pay.
Alexa, ask Escape the Room for Spaceship. Welcome to the spaceship. This is our longest and most premium escape room adventure. It's packed with twice as many puzzles and more complex game mechanics than our other rooms.
Because of this, we charge a small fee, but it's way cheaper than taking your family to a physical room, and you'll get unlimited hints to help you out, just in case you need them. Interested in hearing more about the space-bound adventure? No. Try the other rooms first and come back for the spaceship when you are ready.
The available rooms are the spaceship, the jail cell, the office, and the garage. Which room would you like to enter? Stop. Are you sure you want to quit?
Yes. Okay, thanks for playing. I didn't ask what the cost was for the premium Escape the Room bit, but you can have a look at that if you like, and you'll see that the sound effects are good. Unlike the other rooms, I don't think have any sound effects at all.
But anyway, they are good too. This is Robin signing off. Speak again tomorrow. Feedback, comments, demos.
