Dot to dot. A new skill every day. In five minutes. Hey guys, today we're looking at a skill called 13 Steps.
And this is nothing about self-improvement. This isn't 13 Steps getting fit or losing weight. It's something very, very different. Alexa, open 13 Steps.
Welcome to 13 Steps. Do you know how to play? No. You are deep underground, pursued by a relentless unknowable darkness that wants to swallow you whole.
Stay ahead of the darkness at all times. And step forward towards the light when the path is clear. You must reach the light to escape. When monsters block your path, kill them.
A spear will deal instant death. If you have no spear, you must take your chances and fight with your bare hands. Defeated monsters leave a glow behind. When your backpack is full of glows, they will automatically combine to form a spear.
The path ahead is clear. You can step forward. Forward. You are ten steps from the light.
And the darkness is two behind you. There is nothing here except the moldering bones of an unlikely traveler. The path ahead is clear. You can step forward.
Forward. You are nine steps from the light. And the darkness is two behind you. Sounds good to that.
A fierce light demon blocks the path. Forward. Sorry, that won't work here. I don't make the rules.
The fierce light demon blocks the path. Fight. Just as all hope is lost, you cast the fierce light demon back to where it came from. It left behind its glow.
You collect the glow and put it in your backpack. It's pretty straightforward, isn't it? The path ahead is clear. You can step forward.
Stop. See you again soon. Unless the darkness sees you first. Well, I mean, the gameplay is super simple, which actually, guys, I prefer.
I prefer that to all these health and, you know, different stats and things and different moves to choose. The thing I love about this is this voice actor. My goodness me. I hope he gets a good wage.
It's brilliant. What do you think? Thirteen steps. There must be thirteen steps to get out, but it said I was ten away.
I don't know. There you go. I like this one. Thirteen steps.
Enjoy. I hope it's available where you are. Speak again tomorrow. Feedback, comments, demos.
