The Dot to Dot, with 85 minutes to demo show. For everyone who's simply Dotty and Out, Alexa. Hello and welcome to the Dot to Dot podcast. My name is Sean, and in today's skill, well actually, I don't think I even need to go into a description because it's called, Defend the Castle.
And what you need to do is, well, defend the castle. Let's take a look. Alexa, open Defend the Castle. Okay, here's Defend the Castle.
Welcome to Defend the Castle. Like it, like it. This is a castle defense survival game. Would you like to hear instructions, or begin the game?
Instructions, or begin. Instructions. Purchase a level boost. Players with the boost earn five times the upgrade points.
As a prime member, you save one pound and 99 pence. Your price is just eight pounds. Check the Alexa app for turns. Would you like to buy it?
No! Okay. You have declined the level boost. Yeah, okay.
The sun begins to rise as a new day begins. It's time to improve your castle. On the table in front of you is a six-sided die. Say roll to roll the dice.
Roll! You roll the one. You have earned one upgrade point. Where do you want to put your upgrade point?
Say wall, archer, or knight. Archer. You have added one upgrade point to your archers. Your archers are now level two.
With hammers apparently. As the sun begins to set, you hear drums pounding in the distance. Your castle is attacked by trolls. What, camels?
Yep. After a long and difficult battle, your castle is still standing. Ah! You have barely survived the knight.
You have barely survived the knight. Remember, you can purchase a level boost at any time just by saying boost. Break quick! Do you listen to your current castle defense stats?
Yes! Say yes or no. Yes! Let's take a look at your current castle defense.
Your castle walls are level one. Your walls are made of wood and mud. The archers are level two. Your archers have short bows.
Your knights are heavily damaged. Are you interested in buying a boost to your defense? No! No!
Oh, sorry. I didn't get that. I wasn't listening. Please try again.
Play! That's annoying, developer. Sun begins to rise as the new day begins. It's time to improve your castle.
On the table in front of you is a six-sided die. Say roll to roll the dice. Roll! Come on, six.
You rolled one. Ah, of course I did. Oh, I'm awful. Where do you want to put your upgrade point?
Say wall, archer, or knight. Wall! Yes, I know I say it funny. You have added one upgrade point to your walls.
Thank you. Your walls are now level two. As the sun begins to set, you hear drums pounding in the distance. By siege weapons.
Who? After a long and difficult battle, your castle is still standing. Hey! Avix.
Ah, so. Remember, you can purchase a level boost at any time just by saying boost. Wow. Do you want to view your current castle defense stats?
No! Say yes or no. No. Come on, six, this time.
A rooster crows in the kingdom marking the start of a new day. It's time to improve your castle. It is. On the table in front of you is a six-sided die.
Say roll to roll the dice. Roll. Six. You rolled a four.
You have earned four upgrade points. Where do you want to put your upgrade points? Say wall, archer, or knight. Knight.
That is an invalid, we suppose. Please say wall, archer, or knight. Knight. Is that valid, we suppose?
That is an invalid, we suppose. No. Please say wall, archer, or knight. Archer.
Thank you. That's weird. Your archers are now level six. The kingdom sorcerer comes to you with a worried look on his face.
Does he? He predicts extreme danger approaching and wants to help. The kingdom sorcerer can temporarily strengthen one of your castle's defenses, protecting it from the next attack. What do you want to strengthen?
For walls, say stone. Every time. For archers, say arrow. For knights, say sword.
Right. Sword. But it's whispering. Say arrow, the knight's sword.
Sword. You chose to strengthen your knights. Your knights are now protected against the next attack. The sky turns red and you hear a loud roar in the distance.
Dragons. An enormous dragon attacks your castle and deal one damage to your defense. Dislust scratch. You survived to day three.
Thank you for playing. What? Please check out some of our other el- That was defend the castle. Weird.
