Doctor. The daily five minute skill devotion. For everyone who's simply dotting about Alexa. Hey guys, Robin here.

I just asked the A-lady what are your new features? And she said, today I've been thinking about the environment, asking me about some sustainability tips. So we'll do that first, and then I'll ask her what her new features are again and we'll see if we get something else. Alexa, give me a sustainability tip.

Here is a sustainability tip of the day. Shop organic when possible, across industries. Alexa, give me a sustainability tip. Here is a sustainability tip of the day.

Shop organic when possible, across industries. Yikes, okay? Let me just get the one. Alexa, what are your new features?

Today I've been thinking about ways to look after the environment. If you're interested, try asking, what's my sustainability tip of the day? Okay, we've reached an empire, so let's try something else. Alexa, what can you do?

I have a lot to offer. Try saying things like, Alexa, what's the word for airplane in Danish? What's the weather forecast for Atlanta this week? Well, set an alarm for 7am tomorrow.

Okay, you definitely get a different set of recommendations each time you ask her what she can do. I'm desperate to know now what airplane in the Danish is. Alexa, what is airplane in Danish? Airplane in Danish is flu.

For you, yeah. There's a lot of Americanisms, you know, in our British A-Lady, which is fine, but kind of not really. But anyway, if you like, you know, for you American cousins over there, dear listeners, we were making you say airplane or lift instead of elevator or boot instead of trunk or something. It's just a bit grating.

We're not in America, but because of the amazing free, mostly free services that the A-Lady offers and all the fantastic value that she gives, I'm fine with it, kind of. Okay, but to hear in English, accent saying airplane. Okay, there you go. And we know that there are lots of other things that you can say like, what does a red ring mean, what am I notifications, send someone a hug?

I don't know where that one came from, but that's a nice little feature which we've covered before. You know that we can send voice messages as well as text messages over from, you know, one echo to another if she knows who that other person is, because you've shared your contacts in the app. There are so many things you can do, guys, as I'm sure you know. Probably the main things in our house that we use the A-Lady for are timers, reminders, jidith is forever saving recipes that come up on the show, 10 screen downstairs in the kitchen.

And since we specified our dietary preference of Bescatarian, which we covered a week or so ago, then they've all been really, really appropriate. And, you know, she saves so many. So yeah, loads of stuff you can do with your A-Lady, but it sounds like saying what new features do you have is a bit of a one trick pony. Let's just do one more, what can you do kind of things?

And then, what can you do? I'm glad you asked. Try saying, hello, sir, wake me up in 30 minutes. I'm late for the meeting all.

How old are you? How old are you? Should probably say five or something. Wake me up in 30 minutes.

Yes, you can absolutely do that. You know that will be like an alarm, but we can also set a sleep timer for 30 minutes. So if you're listening to the radio or an audio book or whatever, then you can say set a sleep timer for 10 minutes or so and then you'll automatically turn off. Cool.

Bit of a macelemy today, guys. Have a brilliant one and we'll speak again tomorrow. Feedback comments, demos, the dot-to-dot podcast at gmail.com. Briefcast.fm.
