Now a lot of children are escaping from school around about now for the long summer holidays. And I thought we would look at a skill called Escape the School. Alexa, open Escape the School. Welcome to Escape the School.
Please say, start, to begin. Start. Game started. Your eyes slowly open.
Your body feels tingly as you look around. You're in a dark school classroom. All the lights are out. You sluggishly get up and notice an unnerving chill down your spine.
You can say instructions like, look left, look at door, or use wrench on high. You can also say, inventory, to look and see what you have. What would you like to do? Look forward.
You look forward. You see a chalkboard, trashcan, a desk with a chair, and a plant. What would you like to do? Examine chalkboard.
You look at the chalkboard. It has a dullish green colour. The eraser is missing. What would you like to do?
Look at trashcan. The trashcan has a silvery colour and looks to be made out of metal. You notice a small button behind the trashcan. What would you like to do?
Take button. Without hesitation, you press the button. You hear a noise and see that the chalkboard has opened up to reveal a hidden area. What would you like to do?
Examine hidden area. You do not see a hidden area. What would you like to do? Look forward.
You look forward. You see a chalkboard, trashcan, a desk with a chair, and a plant. What would you like to do? Examine chalkboard.
The chalkboard has now opened up and reveals a tall lever. What would you like to do? Examine desk. I'm not going to...
You look at the desk. You see a book and some pills. What would you like to do? Examine pills.
You look at the pills. They are imprinted with the words, extra strength. You put one in your mouth and swallow it. Not long after, your limbs feel like they are pulsing with power.
What would you like to do? Examine book. The book is titled Echo by Damien Edge. All of the pages of the book are blank.
What would you like to do? Examine chair. You look at the chair. It is black and made of leather.
What would you like to do? Examine lever. You pull the lever. As it's halfway down, it makes a grinding noise and stops in place.
What would you like to do? Look left. You look left. You see a sink, a countertop, a fish tank, and a light switch.
What would you like to do? Examine countertop. On the countertop, you see a blue pair of scissors. The fish tank is resting on the countertop as well.
Goodness me. What would you like to do? Take scissors. You pick up the blue scissors.
What would you like to do? Examine fish tank. You look at the fish tank. There are four shiny goldfish chasing each other around in a circle.
The fish tank has the label, S-U-N-N-Y, projects on it. It appears that you can lift the fish tank with your strength. What would you like to do? Lift fish tank.
With your extra strength, you lift up the fish tank to reveal sundestellate keys. You pick up the keys and put the fish tank back down. How do you do that? What would you like to do?
Stop. Goodbye. Wow. I think that's the most involved escape the room skill I've used.
Basically, everywhere you look, there is, like, we've only looked two ways so far, there's at least three or four things to do, and each one seems to be interactive, and wow, what was the purpose of that book? The lever didn't seem to do anything, but it got stuck halfway. Sunny products, wasn't it? Discolored keys, blue scissors.
