Not a dot. The date of five minutes will go through. Where do you want to be simply dotting a dot? Thanks.
The guys are on here continuing the spooky theme today. We are looking at spooky screen. We'll ask how they've over 1000 episodes ago. This one is very simple.
You start with spooky screen. You'll ask you what you want the delay time to be. It suggests 10 seconds just so you can try it out, but it could be 3 hours, it could be 12 hours, whatever you want. And as long as you don't interrupt that particular echo with some other requests, then you can scare the living date out of someone.
They recommend that you put it under someone's bed or in their room after you crank the volume up and just take several years off their life basically. Hello. Open spooky screen. Okay.
When shall I start? You can say starting 10 seconds. 10 seconds. Let's turn that up.
I'm not going about my normal business. I'm expecting any back. Oh my goodness. That was quite scary.
Is everyone each time? I did try it. The one that gave me one particularly shocking. Anyway, let's give another go.
Hello. So open spooky screen. Okay. When shall I start?
You can say starting 10 seconds. Starting one minute. Okay. And she's going away.
You might be able to say ask spooky screen to start in five minutes or something like that. So I'm going to say the invocation name spooky screen is hard to say. Now in the echo show this week you have to check that out because Sean, the brilliant Sean, you have fantastic demo of motion detection where if it detects that somebody comes into the room and this works with new echo dots without a screen and echo shows with a screen and camera which they'll have. So definitely check out the echo show if you haven't subscribed to that.
You guys is out every week and he used a blood curdling screen. Actually, I think it was a chainsaw effect with a routine that was triggered by motion detection. And that chainsaw effect was actually different. Oh my goodness.
Oh my goodness. Oh my goodness. That's terrible. I guess I'm hard to take.
That effect was called a skill called sound reply which I'll flag in the title of this. Today's show is up. Here on dot dot dot because sound reply is a brilliant skill that the guys think it's voice pro apps turned around for us in 24 hours after we mentioned that we would like a skill to play a sound effect without any voice prompt beforehand without the idea that you say anything. You just do that.
And they did that for us without any delay if you're going to be creating a routine. Let's either trigger that certain time or by certain activity like somebody in the room or I don't know. The temperature in the house or outside dropping to a certain temperature because echo fourth Genes have a thermometer inside. So there's loads of stuff you can do to trigger a routine sound detection as well.
If you detect certain sounds that you can get a sample we could go on on check out the echo show guys are loads of information about what you can do with your echo over and above what we cover here on dot two dot. Okay. So spooky screen, that was pretty. And sound reply.
That guy is an inspiration. Sorry. Be back. Comments.
