The woman who can’t find love until the unexpected happens, and now she’s living on a farm in bliss with thirty children and her soul mate. You get the idea. We all love a good “started from the bottom, now we’re here” tale. It’s no wonder that sometimes we seek this level of drama in our own life. But what I’ve noticed over the years, these stories are better on screen. Struggling and grit builds character, sure. I’m good on those.
