The Bible reports that just over two thousand years ago a man named Jesus died on a cross just outside of Jerusalem, was buried, and then somehow rose from the dead 3 days later. Those kind of claims can't - and really shouldn't - be without controversy! That's why there are so many popular arguments against the story. In this part 1 of a special 2-part Easter series of the podcast, Cory (aka "The Equipping Evangelist") critically considers a physical event that the Bible says happened during Christ's crucifixion that was so powerful and widespread that it was also recorded in the writings of other ancient historians.
