In the Echoes Podcast, John Diliberto talks to aeseaes (pronounced A-C-S), the husband and wife duo who you may have caught sometime over the last 10 years streaming live performances on the Twitch Platform. We discovered them on their 2017 EP Six Songs and have been enchanted ever since, even when their songs are inspired by horror like the song, “Switchblade.”.

Allie: I was actually kind of thinking of the story of Frankenstein and sort of like this divided self, the creator and the creature or the monster that’s been created. kind of how those things are, both of those characters are kind of eternally linked.

That’s Allie Eisler, one half of aeseaes. We’ll hear both halves when we talk about their lives from meeting at the University of Texas in Austin through to their new album, Opia, their perfect gem of a dream pop album, which will be the CD of the Month for July..
