She saw a way out of poverty, through education. Once she began to read, she became unstoppable. Amy and Dr. Salisha discussed their shared love for Grenada, their academic achievements, and the challenges they faced in their personal lives. The conversation also focused on the importance of education in empowering individuals and the need to break the stigma surrounding menstrual health.Dr, Salisha shared a partnership between Shara Foundation and Days for Girls International for a 2025 pilot program cycle of empowerment menstrual Health Initiative in Grenada. Through education, products, and support, this program will help almost 300 girls and young women in their menstrual health journey.
