Ego Is Good

from JOIN UP DOTS - GET RICH & LIVE FREE (Business Coaching With A Touch Of Life Coaching Too)

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man who has has a fascinating journey to where he is today. He is the co-creator of MOTIVATE International (formerly MOTIVATE Shanghai) which is a meeting place for personal and professional development in one of the worlds biggest cities (28million+ people). This was one of the first, if not the first centres to bring personal development to the mainstream public However, although it seems he has found his place this is quite a distance from where he first started. Starting his career in the Australian military he served seven years for the Army, working his way up the ranks before landing in Afghanistan for a final tour of duty. And as we see from so many entrepreneurs who have joined up their dots on the show, the military gives an amazing grounding in productivity, organization and routine which if learnt in the right way can then be taken into civilian life in spectacular fashion. And that certainly seems to be the case with todays guest as he says "A couple of years ago. Chiang Mai, North Thailand became my second home. I was living a Super Healthy lifestyle in every way. Following my passion for Martial Arts with Thai Kickboxing, Cooking Thai food twice a day, Learning Massage and speaking the basics of Thai Language. Money was not an issue. 1 hour of work a week made more Passive Income than my friends were making back in Australia and this was during a Global Financial Crisis. To be honest, I can teach you how to do it financially like I did BUT it won't work for you. You need a system that suits you. One that suits your Personality Style, and fulfills your deeper core needs. You need to have your head in the right place and you need to believe." Which is the bridge that so many people struggle to cross. Its ok to want these things, but how do you get started and truly believe that they are waiting for you. So how did he find the path that was right for him, and then take that path to another financially viable one? And why did he take this financial freedom and then create MOTIVATE? Was it more for himself or the people that he felt he could help? Well let's find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr Adrian Cahill
