She has never in her life felt more seen. She has lost 5 pregnancies and it is truly the saddest, most isolating, devastating experience, that you go through ALL ALONE as a woman. Yes of course your partner, family and friends are there and ache with you, but it’s a heartbreaking solo journey. Emily wrote a song that captures every feeling a woman feels who goes through miscarriage. It’s a true masterpiece. But that’s what Emily does. To Caroline, and many others in the Nashville creative community, Emily is a musical genius. Her ability to capture raw human emotion and put it into song takes your breath away.
