I also hugely enjoy teaching medical students. Outside of work I have far too many interests, which include painting, gardening, and trail running – often with my dog. My ‘place of escape’ is a wild, windswept, deserted beach in Devon in the middle of winter with miles of empty sand and crashing waves.”
