Empathy in Leadership with Wayne Robinson

from From Fear To Fire

This week’s theme: Empathy in Leadership In today’s interconnected world, we can’t separate our personal lives from the world around us. Our everyday lives—our families, loved ones, hobbies, and friends—are all intertwined. Because of this, people often need help, whether it’s a word of encouragement, a shoulder to lean on, or support to lift them up. This is where empathy in leadership becomes crucial. Now, more than ever, we need to prioritize empathy, reaching out to others not only helps them grow but also makes us feel better about ourselves. By focusing our energy on helping others, we create a supportive environment where someone else will focus their energy on helping us. We may not have all the answers, but the empathy we share can be invaluable to others. From Fear to Fire: Secrets to Overcome Fear, Embrace your Gifts and Achieve Success This is the place where real people share real challenges. Where you can find a common bond and uncommon wisdom through their stories. Use tips from the breakthroughs of others to jump start your success. Speaker, author, adventurer, and host Heather Hansen O’Neill takes you on the journey from fear to fire.  Today we talk about how the importance of empathy in leadership and how leaders can integrate empathy into their roles. Wayne Robinson Wayne Robinson recently retired from FM after 35+ years in the Events industry where besides FM he led events, travel, and multimedia teams to include strategy and implementation at Guardian Life and Northwestern Mutual. He got his start in events at AT&T where he began as an executive planner and attained his CMP and CMM designations along the way and caught the bug that laid the pavement for his career. He studied economics and management science at Kean University but is a living breathing example of how life holds many opportunities and you don’t necessary end up where you started. These days Wayne is following his passion to help guide people in not just the event industry but by using his own experiences to provide a framework of empathetic leadership in a time when it’s most needed both professionally and personally.
