Encountering God through Faith

from First15 Devotional · host First15

Having consistent and transformational encounters with God while on earth is meant to be foundational to the Christian life. Our God has not left us. Through the sacrifice of Jesus, we’ve been filled with the very Spirit of God who longs to reveal to us daily the nearness and love of our heavenly Father. We are never alone. There is nowhere we can flee from the presence of our God. May this week be filled with transformational encounters with the living God as we learn what it is to seek the face of the one who has formed us, knows us, and loves us unconditionally. Our Scripture for today comes from Hebrews 11:6, and today's worship is Jireh by Elevation Worship & Maverick City. Check out our Worship for the Weekday playlist on Spotify! ________ First15 Worship is here! As believers, we want a real connection with God every day, not just on Sunday. We want the peace and passion that comes from living with God, not for God. But when Monday morning rolls around we’re left thinking:  “Now what?” “How do I find and keep a daily connection with my Creator on my own?”  At First15, we know that meaningful worship isn’t just for Sunday. Every believer should be able to find a daily connection to God with fresh worship created specifically for their weekday.  _____ First15 is a daily devotional written and recorded by Craig Denison. Marathi Aarti Sangrah | मराठी आरती संग्रह Rajshri Entertainment Private Limited Aarti (आरती) is a devotional song sung to show devotion towards a deity and to Glorify a deity. Aarti is sung during Ritual of Aarti, in which flame is offered to deity. Aarti is a Hindi word and it is also spelled Arti, Arati or Arathi. The word Aarti is derived from the Sanskrit word Aratrika (आरात्रिक), which means something that removes darkness. MRE Podcast MRE Podcast This is a daily devotional podcast for those who want more of God's Word each day. I read the Word and share my insights from the Word. You might ask why do I do this? In the wilderness, the Israelites had to depend on daily mana from heaven to live. They couldn't eat yesterday's nor keep them for the next day. They always lived on the fresh mana each day. We also need to live by the fresh word of God each day. However, often we skip a meal and live on the past encounters with God. Someone of us gets too busy to eat or someone us do not know how or where to start. We need fresh encounters each day with the Lord so that the love of Christ will overflow to others. That's what I am doing, doing my quiet time and feasting and sharing the food with people.
