Phil joined the United States Marine Corps (USMC) during college in 2004 and commissioned as an officer in 2005. He served for 4 years as a Public Affairs Officer (PAO).In this episode he talks about going through Officer Candidate School, The Basic School (TBS) and the process of joining up.
