Ep. 1: Petra's welcome. The courage to create

Welcome to the Petra Zlatevska Podcast. In this solo introductory launch episode, I introduce my new podcast and share my vision to interview global change makers, doers, innovators, and thinkers, aiming to investigate people's career paths and embrace the fact it is non-linear.  I also share my:  back story to what I have been up to the past few years professionally  work as Director of Legal Research and Communications for the Voice to Parliament campaign in Australia  reflections on the outcome of the Voice to Parliament referendum, emphasising that despite the campaign's failure, the experience was not a "waste" of time or a "waste" of effort as it provided valuable lessons in working with diverse stakeholders and problem-solving.  experience of taking a family sabbatical in Berlin, reconnecting with old colleagues, and teaching a summer school on business negotiation reflections on giving a keynote at my old high school sharing with grade 11 to create their own opportunities and embrace their unique paths, drawing from my family's history of migration and resilience.  belief that changed my business model in speaking and coaching to embrace my quirks and authenticity in professional and creative pursuits personal branding refresh, with a recent website redesign, logo and photoshoot   inspiring encounter in reaching out to a Spanish coach, Maite, without overthinking, emphasising the value of taking chances and not being afraid to connect with influential people.
