Hawkins’ secret language, BEETHOVEN, and our coverage of TIFF’s Midnight Madness! Chris tells us about the 1971 giallo THE BLACK BELLY OF THE TARANTULA, and Dave talks about Shudder’s LAST ONES OUT. Then, after briefly discussing Shudder, TENEBRAE, and our memories of SCREAM, we really get into it. We discuss peeping toms, conflicting production visions, final girl showdowns, confusing nudity, snail chopping, eating pizza off of corpses, parody/comedy in slashers, garage door continuity, and power drill logic.
