What’s the real difference between a plan and a strategy—and why do so many golfers confuse the two?

In this episode, Andy and Steve unpack their 2026 golf blueprints, starting with a big-picture strategy and working down into the day-to-day planning that actually drives improvement. They cover health and fitness, practice structure, short-game priorities, competition schedules, and the realities of juggling golf with work, family, injury, and winter conditions.

Along the way, they reflect on what’s worked (and what hasn’t) in previous years, why flexibility matters more than rigid plans, and how defining your playing field changes the decisions you make as a golfer.

Also in this episode:

  • A Pilgrims poll update and the rise of the Dice of Truth
  • Why health and fitness are no longer optional after 50
  • The case for practicing short game on real grass, not just indoors
  • Using nine-hole rounds as mental training, not just swing practice
  • What “winning” actually means in a long-term golf journey

If you’ve ever made a plan and wondered why nothing changed, this one might help you find The Missing Links.

Lost Island of Atlantis, The by Edward Taylor Fletcher (1816 - 1897) LibriVox In this paper, read before the Literary and Historical Society, Quebec, Fletcher demonstrates methodically what he perceives as evidence for the existence of the island of Atlantis. He begins by documenting the historical instances Atlantis is referred to in ancient texts, even if only as a myth (Part 1), continues on to analyze linguistic elements that might indicate an Atlantean origin (Part 2), and also presents a connection between the American and the European fossil flora and amber fauna, suggesting that Atlantis is the missing link (Part 3). At the end, he makes mention of the deep-sea soundings of the Atlantic ocean and other geological findings (Part 4). The Lost Island, a poem by Fletcher, is included as Part 5 of this audiobook. - Summary by Rapunzelina The Missing Pieces Podcast Jaime Richards and Aatash Parikh Podcast by Jaime Richards and Aatash Parikh The story of the missing present Audrey Mcfarlane This is my first pod cast I had so much fun making this this is the first episode to more episodes coming soon Mysteries of the Missing Maggie Paredes Welcome to Mysteries of the Missing.
