When Jon Wilson published the first issue of WoodenBoat Magazine in 1974, the number of his employees, (him, his wife and their toddler son) outnumbered their subscribers, two. But thanks to some self-admitted naivete and a ton of perseverance, WoodenBoat can now be found on newsstands around the world. In this episode, Tyler and Carter talk to the founder of WoodenBoat Magazine and discuss how his passion for wooden boats not only saved a significant part of our maritime history but also inspired a new generation of boat builders.
