EP 131: Real Mom Talk: Breastfeeding and Dirty Looks
from Super Mamás · host Paulina and Bricia Lopez
After reading an email from one of our super mamas about a collective she belongs to (MOCA- Mothers of Colors in Academia) that fights and advocates for parenting students rights and who are currently fighting for more lactation rooms in UCLA, we realized it was important to talk more about breastfeeding and everything that comes with it. Paulina is going through the journey once again with baby Zixta and after having a great experience in Mexico, she came back to totally different experience here in the US. There is still a long journey to #normalizebreastfeeding, but regardless of our preference, we need to support one another and accept the choices we each make.
