We discuss disrupting the way we think about gender norms and gender rules, and by changing our thinking, how this can change the way the world functions. The ways in which some think about gender roles, develop gender rules to try to define what "normal" is, is outdated and frankly depressing. We need to empower anyone's potential, not push them or shape them into things they are not or do not want to become.  Ideas about gender rules and gender norms can shape destiny, and it starts when we're young. That's when we are most susceptible to these views, as children. Today's "woman" and "man" doesn't need to fit into a predefined construct anymore. A "man" is not required to be the "alpha" anymore and the "woman" is not required to be the "order taker," the secretary or just a housewife any longer either. We can build partnerships in any way that we desire today where we can take away what is feminine or masculine and just be a human. The truth is, culture and where an individual grows up in and lives does play a major role in the way these ideas mold the person, and it changes the way one formulates opinions in the brain and the effects behaviors of people.
