In honor of our 75th anniversary, we are interviewing former presidents of Division 18. In this episode, we interview Dr. Linda Richardson, president from 2017-2018. She shares about the major initiatives she took on during her presidential year, including establishing an American Psychological Foundation (APF) fund to support student and early career psychologist members with their professional development. She describes some of the organizational challenges during her term and insights on leadership for current and aspiring leaders. One take away message is "relationships matter". The Div. 18 APF fund has the potential to support worthwhile causes central to our division's mission, while also supporting our members.
