Ep. 2 - Becky Alley from Capital Mortgage Funding

Becky Alley started in the industry before the Great Recession of 2008 ever set in.  Her experience and wealth of information is second to none.  Although we didn't discuss this in the podcast, she finished 2019 in the top 1% of mortgage lenders.  Becky joins us to talk about lending in April 2020. What are lending practices looking like today, how have they changed from even a month ago, are rates higher or lower because of the COVID-19 pandemic, and is it any different trying to close a loan for somebody now versus before.  She also shares a great story where a buyer had an appraisal issue on a purchase, the appraiser would not go back to the home during the COVID-19 outbreak, the buyer became virtually homeless and started living in a hotel and how that turned out.  Of course, a little bit of fun along the way and some strong going away words of hope for our future.
