from Diary of a Wrestling Fan · host William Chase

Join Ontario independent wrestling personality, Bill Chase, as he takes you on an ongoing journey throughout his years as a wrestling fan from 1987 all the way to today. On this episode, Bill reminisces about the show that changed it all for him.  An invite from his friend Josh Remmelzwaal, lead him to attending Alpha-1 Wrestling's Stage 2, at the Firefighter's Hall in Hamilton, just before their move to the Germania Club.  It was the show that lit the flame for Bill's passion of local independent wrestling, and inspired him to become involved with the local scene.  He talks about the intrigue of Ethan Page, how he felt Mr. Melo was a great throwback to the old-school manager, the appearance of Rhino, being captivated by Alessandro Del Bruno's skills, and of course the main event that he'll never forget between "The Night Train" Justin Sane, and the one and only, Brodie Lee!  Bill also talks about the Elimination Chamber  2011 PPV, he saw that very same night at a movie theater.
