EP 34: The responsiblity of inviting others to the table

Have you ever had an interaction with another person where you are asked to participate in something they are passionate about?  You are super excited to accept this opportunity.  Yet somehow, you find this person has decided you offended them.  Before you know it and without the courtesy of a conversation you find the offer to participate has been rescended, and you are left wondering what happened. In today's episode of the podcast, I want to chat to you about a situation like this I experienced recently.  I had so many feelings about it - seriously!  To process them all, I decided to take my less-than-pleasant experience and turn it into a teachable moment for us all.  Hopefully, in doing so, there will be some redemption.  Fingers crossed.
