Herman Webster Mudgett, better known as H.H. Holmes, was one of America's first serial killers. He is believed to have killed between 20 and 200 people, many of them in a specially constructed home in Chicago that was later nicknamed the "Murder Castle." But before Holmes became a killer, he was a con artist. He was a master of deception, and he used his skills to swindle people out of their money. He posed as a doctor, a lawyer, and a businessman, and he even married multiple women under false pretenses. Enter Room 2008 with our special guest as she will guide us through and explore Holmes' childhood and early life.
